Description
The MAX30205 converts temperature readings into a digital format using a high-resolution sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It’s engineered to meet the clinical thermometry specifications of the ASTM E1112 standard, making it a reliable choice for medical devices. The sensor includes an open-drain output (OS) that can function as an over-temperature alarm, interrupt, or comparator, providing an immediate notification if a temperature threshold is exceeded. Its small form factor and low power draw make it ideal for battery-powered wearable devices.
