The SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield is a quad-band GSM module based on the SIMCom SIM900 chip. It allows Arduino and other microcontrollers to communicate over a mobile network for SMS, voice, and GPRS data. Designed in a shield format, it easily stacks onto an Arduino UNO or Mega, enabling plug-and-play wireless communication.
