The Grove – GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) sensor is a user-friendly module designed to measure the electrical conductivity of your skin, a key indicator of emotional arousal and stress. This sensor is perfect for projects in biofeedback, human-computer interaction, and psychological research.

The sensor works by applying a small, safe voltage to the skin and measuring the change in resistance. When a person becomes emotionally excited or stressed, the sympathetic nervous system activates sweat glands, which increases the skin’s moisture and, consequently, its electrical conductivity. This change is then measured by the sensor.
