MQ2 Gas Sensor

KSh 550.00

Out of stock

The MQ-2 is a semiconductor gas sensor designed to detect combustible gases and smoke. It uses a tin dioxide (SnO₂) sensitive layer whose conductivity changes in the presence of target gases, allowing gas concentration to be measured as a change in voltage. The module version includes onboard signal conditioning components for easy interfacing with microcontrollers.

Key Features

  • Sensitive to LPG, propane, methane, hydrogen, and smoke.
  • Fast response and high sensitivity.
  • Adjustable sensitivity via onboard potentiometer.
  • Provides both analog and digital output signals
  • Long service life and stable performance
  • Onboard heater for sensor activation
