DESCRIPTION
Experience fluid control through the power of electrons with this innovative liquid valve, ideal for enhancing your robotic gardening endeavors. Featuring two 1/2″ outlets (Nominal non-taped National Pipe), this valve remains closed by default and springs to life when 12VDC is applied to its terminals, allowing water to flow freely. With its internal gasket arrangement, a minimum pressure of 0.02 Mpa (3 PSI) is required for operation, ensuring optimal performance. Moreover, this valve restricts fluid flow to a single direction, offering precision and efficiency.
After thorough testing, we discovered that this solenoid can be activated at voltages as low as 6VDC, albeit with slightly slower response times. Refer to the current draw table below for voltage-specific details. We recommend pairing this valve with a TIP120 or N-Channel power FET, along with a 1N4001 kickback diode, to seamlessly integrate it with a microcontroller pin. For power supply needs, our 9V 1A or 12V 1A power adapters are highly compatible.
